Sam’s Club hosted a wellness event for influencers. In NYC last week, the retailer hosted an exclusive “Sam’s Wellness Club” where content creators got to experience health and wellness products across apparel, beauty, and food. The event also included a group workout class, ear cleaning, and massage chairs, and drew in a range of influencers from The Bachelor’s Matt James to fitness content creator Jenna Palek. While Sam’s Club doesn’t have a store in NYC, it chose to host the event there because of its proximity to health and fitness influencers that reach the young people who do have one nearby. YPulse data shows most young people have built wellness habits beyond working out into their daily lives—and Sam’s Club is trying to meet them where they are by increasingly prioritizing health and wellness as part of its brand identity, especially with its latest partnership with Weight Watchers.
