Barbie and Edikted announced a Y2K-inspired collab. Edikted has built a strong fanbase of tweens and teens, especially through social media. Now, the brand’s pop-up and collab with Barbie is hoping to give young consumers a reason to show up and shop in person. The line, including everything from sparkly accessories to pink matching sets, is super nostalgic, drawing inspo from the now-discontinued Barbie Fashion Fever dolls and their playful, eye-catching styles. To celebrate its release in May, Edikted and Barbie are planning a VIP launch event at The Grove in Los Angeles, followed by a limited-time pop-up that will feature a Barbie doll display and archival Barbie pieces that inspired the collection.
