And experts say that Gen Zβs money-related anxiety points to a broader issue of a βfinancial education gapβ in the U.K. It sheds light on the information gap about credit scores and personal finance, with one fifth of survey respondents having been declined for a credit card or personal loan because of their credit history. With all these issues in mind, the British government is currently developing a new curriculum for schools to boost financial literacy so that young people can better manage their financesβand hopefully feel less stressed about money.
