Young male creators like Jeremy Fragrance, That Fragrance Kid, and Fragrance Knowledge are building their brands around scent review content—some even starting while they were still in their teens. While men’s fragrance content certainly existed before TikTok, with YouTubers posting longer analyses of scents or videos about the colognes that would make the viewer more attractive, the new gen of fragrance-focused creators are positioning it as one part of men’s quests to level up, and helping to fuel a men’s fragrance boom. In an era of looksmaxxing and aura farming, fragrance as a self-improvement tool is selling. And yes, thanks to TikTok Shop it’s become even easier to literally sell fragrances directly to young viewers, with one creator reporting he made $60K the first year the feature launched.
