Some breweries are implementing child-free policies—sorry, Millennial parents. While many breweries once welcomed families with open arms, more are now choosing to create adult-only spaces, often citing safety concerns, liability risks, and the challenge of managing unsupervised children. The shift reflects a growing divide—while plenty of Millennial parents seek inclusive spots to bring their kids, YPulse data shows some Millennials (37%) and Gen Z adults (40%) prefer child-free gatherings when hanging out with friends. So, as breweries work to define their customer base and keep people happy, many are realizing they can’t be the right space for everyone and are making choices accordingly. (NYT)
