Minecraft is turning young gamers into entrepreneurs. For Gen Z and Gen Alpha gamers, the skills they learned while playing are becoming real career paths, sometimes replacing the need for a college degree. What began as a fun way to build and explore virtual worlds for many young gamers has grown into a serious way to learn coding, develop creativity, and even make money. Some have launched YouTube channels or built Minecraft servers that bring in thousands of players. Others have started full-on businesses—from custom game plugins to software companies—all inspired by what they learned in the game. Minecraft’s creator program and online marketplace also lets users sell things like skins and maps, and some have made millions doing it. (Business Insider)
