Young consumers are driving luxury purchases on TikTok. According to the platform, adults across the U.K., U.S., France and Italy are “helping luxury brands unlock growth” through their love of using social media to discover (and purchase from) luxury brands. Now, instead of heading into stores, young shoppers are scrolling through creator videos to get real insight on everything from pricing to fit. In fact, 32% of TikTok users discover luxury brands through creators, and 26% wait to hear what influencers think before making a purchase. TikTok has officially become a key space for conversation, validation, and recommendations—with Gen Z and Millennial consumers asking for sizing help, authenticity checks, and styling tips right in the comments.
