This young generation speaks in quick, coded language, often coming from niche online spaces like gaming, where even a small change in phrasing can flip the entire meaning. For example, phrases like “let him cook” can come across as both supportive and mocking. It’s a nuance that’s easy to miss, and not just for AI—even their parents are struggling to keep up. These slang terms shift fast and sometimes are intentionally layered to keep outsiders, especially adults, out of the loop.
