Lowe’s launched The Lowe’s Creator Network in an effort to reach more young people. The retail giant wants to connect with Gen Z and Millennial home improvers through “meaningful storytelling” lead by creators who will give inspiration and advice. The network will allow influencers to access products to promote, customize storefronts, get training resources, and the opportunities for sponsorships and project funding. These influencers can also earn commission through the network, and over 17K have already signed up, including Mr. Beast—since Lowe’s is serving as the exclusive building partner of the second season of his Beast Games competition. YPulse data shows social media is a key driver for home décor inspiration among young people and 78% of 18-35-year-olds want to put more effort into decorating their home or apartment.
