Some Gen Z and Millennials are avoiding health screenings with a doctor. According to a report from research company Kantar, nearly a third of Gen Z don’t trust their doctor, which is a higher rate of distrust than among any other gen. Gen Z women are especially likely to avoid screenings all together (68% compared to 55% of Gen Z men), which ties into a bigger issue: many women say they’ve felt dismissed or not taken seriously by healthcare providers.
