Roblox wants to change how parents view their platform. In an effort to build trust and confidence with parents of children who are active on Roblox, the platform hired lawyer and digital safety expert Elizabeth Milovidov as the head of the new parental advocacy division. The move comes after facing criticism for not doing enough to protect children over the years. It’s also implementing its first Teen Council that offers a say in making Roblox safer—all a part of their larger move to make itself a trusted space for kids and the adults in their lives.
