Doritos’ recent Minecraft collab is a nation-wide scavenger hunt in the U.K. To celebrate the launch of A Minecraft Movie, Doritos created a game of solving riddles to find stores across the country that sell limited edition Chilli Heatwave Doritos packs, containing square crisps. So many took on the challenge that it resulted in long queues in some supermarkets, like at Tesco Extra in Hertfordshire, where people believed they could get their hands on the special packs. Winners of the game could earn cash prizes up to £10K and exclusive Minecraft movie merchandise, which clearly drove the experiential marketing to popularity from fans. (Wales Online)
