Kendrick Lamar’s “diabolical” Super Bowl halftime show has created a slew of new memes.

Feb 11 2025

Kendrick Lamar’s “diabolical” Super Bowl halftime show has created a slew of new memes. YPulse told you last week 70% of 13-39-year-olds planned to watch the Super Bowl this year. And we know Gen Z loves to meme-ify the events they watch—which they certainly did with the halftime show. It put Lamar’s 2024 feud with Drake on the national stage when he called his rival out by name during the diss track “Not Like Us” with a big smile. Young people absolutely loved it, sharing the image and clip over and over, calling it “mischievous,” “diabolical,” and Lamar a “menace,” all in the best way. But the other star of the halftime show was Lamar’s outfit, namely his designer boot-cut jeans. Users were trying to guess what brand and exact style they might be immediately, some even speculating they were women’s jeans. Yes, they found his hits at Drake next level, but X users are also calling him a “cutie patootie” for his style.
