Hiveclass is a new EdTech platform specifically for phys ed. While most EdTech platforms focus on individual students’ use in and out of the classroom, Hiveclass is marketed toward schools and libraries to increase P.E. engagement. The platform was started during the pandemic by two New York parents who wanted to make sure their own kids got the amount of activity they’d usually get at school. But, in schools, it also addresses the issues of kids reportedly worrying about the “highly competitive environment” and potential bullying in gym class. Now, over 80 schools and 13K students use Hiveclass to learn about physical activity through short videos and quizzes. (Tech Crunch)
