Pinterest’s yearly trend predictions see a quirky year of fashion ahead in 2025. Based on searches seeing massive upticks on Pinterest, a maximalist theme is certainly emerging. Between Renaissance-esque trends they’re calling “Rococo Revival” and “Castle Core,” and more vibrant ones like “Cherry Coded,” “Dolled Up,” and “Primary Play,” young people especially are looking to Pinterest for inspiration that will take their look far past minimalism. And several of these trends extend beyond their clothing; Pinterest also predicts a “Mix and Maximalist” home trend that ties closely to the eclectic look from their “Moto Boho” prediction. But Pinterest isn’t just sitting by and waiting for the trends to materialize—in the case of the highly girly “Dolled Up,” which is probably mostly thanks to Sabrina Carpenter, the platform is partnering with Urban Outfitters for in-store pop-ups highlighting items in this aesthetic.
