According to a recent survey commissioned by Honda, 47% of British Gen Z have given their vehicles a nickname, while only 13% of Boomers have done so. Some of the most popular names include “Baby,” “Betty,” “Beast,” and “Rocket.” According to the study, young drivers say that giving nicknames to their cars fosters a strong emotional connection with their vehicles.
