TikTok is obsessed with Ariana Grande’s Saturday Night Live bachelorette trip-song sketch. In a bridesmaid’s performance segment that parodied Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Espresso,” Grande and the rest of the “wedding party” reminisced on their bach trip—and the bride’s special guest Domingo. The episode achieved SNL’s highest ratings since May 2021, drawing in 5.6M viewers, but the excitement is continuing on social media, amassing 75M views for just one clip on the show’s TikTok. TikTokers are using the audio of the sketch to re-enact the intentionally awkward vocals and dancing and share how it’s gotten stuck in their head over the real “Espresso.” To further validate the sketch’s success, Carpenter herself praised it on Instagram, posting, “very nice and on pitch,” in a lighthearted jab at the singing.
