LEGO is launching free workshops encouraging creative play for kids. LEGO is aiming to engage “young creators,” a.k.a. six-12-year-olds, by building decorations like photo frames and jewelry stands with themes like entertainment, imagination, space, gaming, and more. Though all are welcome, the workshops are also a piece of LEGO Group’s ongoing campaign to empower young girls’ creativity especially. The in-store and online workshops will also feature women professionals and even influencers young girls might recognize or look up to, further pushing the self-confidence the series aims to build for its young attendees through hands-on creativity.
