Cambridge Dictionary is adding some Gen Z slang. The Cambridge Dictionary has included over 3K new words this year, featuring several iconic Gen Z slang terms. Some of these words include boop, IYKYK, and the ick—all of which we recently explained in YPulse’s Gen Z dictionary. Wendalyn Nichols, the publishing manager at Cambridge Dictionary, acknowledges that even though slang constantly evolves, she is certain that these specific additions are set to remain relevant for the foreseeable future.
