Gen Z is worried negative stereotypes will keep them from jobs. According to a recent report by iHire, 34% of Gen Z employees are concerned that negative stereotypes about their generation’s workplace behavior may obstruct their career advancement. Many employers have perpetuated these stereotypes by labeling Gen Z as lazy, entitled, and lacking commitment and work ethic. And over half of young workers (53%) do believe that the entire generation needs to improve its office etiquette—though that means nearly half disagree it’s an issue to fix as well. (Newsweek)
