May 14 2024

Teens say playing video games has positive impacts on their lives. According to a new survey, 56% of 13-17-year-olds claim that video games have improved their problem-solving skills, while 47% say they have helped build and maintain strong friendships. Another 41% believe that video games have enhanced their ability to work collaboratively with others, and 32% credit them with having a positive effect on their mental health. However, despite mostly positive outcomes, many gamers do report struggles with poor sleeping habits, which can have negative impacts on their physical and mental health, as well as cyberbullying.
