Some Gen Z are relying heavily on artificial intelligence tools in their careers. A recent Canva survey revealed 45% of job seekers have used AI to create, modify, or improve their resumes. But AI-generated resumes can be easily identified and considered a potential concern by hiring managers, employers recognize cover letters sharing the same generated language. Most of Gen Z (61%) have expressed their reliance on generative AI for work related tasks. While AI can assist in some stages of the job application process, including interview readiness and company research, most people believe it should serve as a supportive tool rather than a complete replacement.
