A quarter of British Gen Z have never answered the phone. A new study in the U.K. reveals that 25% of 18-34-year-olds say they’ve never answered a phone call and 70% say they prefer a text to a call. Interestingly, over half associate a phone call with bad news which partly explains why they prefer to ignore the calls rather than answer them. YPulse recently informed you how the British Office for National Statistics (ONS) even decided to stop calling people to collect data after they realized very few Gen Z were picking up the phone.
