Gen Z hates answering phone calls, so the U.K. adjusted its survey method for stats on the economy. The British Office for National Statistics (ONS) used to call people to ask questions related to employment and collect data. But it realized the method simply wasn’t working with Gen Z, who weren’t picking up the phone to answer the calls. The ONS concluded it had to tweak its methodology to better reach young people and get more accurate data. (Reuters)
