Sonic is launching a Blackout Slush Float inspired by the solar eclipse. On April 8, some parts of the U.S., Mexico, and Canada will be able to experience a total solar eclipse, which may not only be visible from your house but also from your nearest Sonic. In addition to introducing the new drink, Sonic is teaming up with Terry Virts, a former NASA astronaut and International Space Station commander, to help people get ready for the eclipse. And if the collaboration can’t get any more unique, the drink comes with a pair of eclipse-viewing glasses specially designed to safely watch an eclipse as it occurs. (Food&Wine)
