Three quarters of young Spanish people can’t maintain a healthy diet. A recent study from a German consulting firm shows only 25% of 18-30-year-olds in Spain maintain a balanced diet including fruit and vegetables. According to the authors, high inflation in the country is partly responsible for young people’s unhealthy diet. This concurs with YPulse’s research showing the top thing young Spaniards have changed about their spending because of inflation in the last year is to reduce their food expenditures.
