Temu saw a significant increase in searches following its Super Bowl ad, according to Google Trends search data. “Already averaging a volume of 4.6 million online searches a month in the US alone,” the online marketplace had a 1,139% increase in U.S. searches, having the most impact for any brand from the event. After appearing four times throughout the game, Temu’s “Shop Like a Billionaire” ad resonated with viewers and generated the highest search increase, compared to other major brands like Disney and Volkswagen. The company has faced controversy but is aiming to be a top ecommerce platform in the U.S. as it grows. (Marketing Beat)
