Social media clips are helping gamers make the most of expansive plot options. In games where there are nearly unlimited opportunities for character and map interactions, it’s impossible that each player will see every great dialogue the game has to offer. This is the case with the new and highly successful Baldur’s Gate 3, but clips on TikTok and YouTube are giving players the chance to see it all and tell them how to get through to these plot points themselves. In turn, players are going back for second and third run-throughs, extending the viral lifetime of the game.
