Gen Z are buying “style bundles” as a more sustainable shopping option. Young thrifters are selling what are called “style bundles”—which are hand-picked sets of clothes that shoppers can ask for through direct messaging / personal websites—and sellers are specifically marketing to Gen Z on TikTok. Using hashtags like #StyleBundle has gained one stylist over 200K views and tens of thousands of social media followers. Gen Z especially loves this kind of shopping because they can essentially shop their Pinterest mood boards, but are still shopping sustainably with “the thrill of a shopping spree—without the guilt of a Zara haul.” YPulse research shows that nearly half of young consumers have purchased secondhand clothing / accessories.
