Chipotle is dipping into Threads for National Avocado Day. This year’s “Get in The Pit” annual campaign from the restaurant chain will kick off on July 31, giving consumers the chance to win concert tickets. For 12 hours, Chipotle will hop on its Threads account to post text-to-win codes each hour, and the thousandth user to text the code each hour will win two concert or festival tickets. Additionally, rewards members can visit Chipotle locations on July 31 and receive free guac using the code “AVO2023” with the Chipotle app. These National Avocado Day efforts are looking to promote the new Threads app as well as boost the company’s loyalty program, which YPulse research shows that about half of Gen Z and Millennials are a part of brands’ loyalty / rewards programs.
