Coca-Cola’s artificial intelligence-powered music studio is coming to music festivals across the country. The beverage brand is building on its global music platform Coke Studio by adding generative AI to its catalog. Soon available at festivals including Lollapalooza in Chicago and the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, the technology will allow festival goers the chance to formulate their own song, album cover, and music video following a group of question prompts using generative AI, AI video generation, and ChatGPT. The chief creative officer of Momentum Worldwide North America—the experience agency Coca-Cola is partnering with—explains the studio is “a great example of connecting Gen Z’s passion for music, creativity and technology to propel brand growth among the next generation of consumers.” YPulse research shows that most Gen Z and Millennials feel curious and hopeful about emerging AI technologies, so Coke Studio is an exciting way for these young gens to experiment with the tech.
