Young people in France are on edge after an instance of police violence. Following the killing of a 17-year-old of North-African descent by police officers in the Paris suburbs, many Gen Z and Millennials protested police violence. As the protests intensified and turned into riots, the French president deployed over 40K police officers to many big cities, blaming video games for creating a violent culture among young people nationwide.
