British Gen Alpha are shorter than their European peers, and experts blame the struggling health care system in the country. A recent study shows that British children under the age of five are falling behind their European peers in terms of height. While there is no clear answer as to why this is happening, experts are pointing to the struggling National Health Service (NHS), as well as overall declining living conditions in the country related to illness, infection, stress, poverty, and sleep quality.
