LVMH x Epic Games is the latest Web3 collab. The French luxury group has announced a partnership with Epic Games—the creator of Fortnite and Unreal Engine—to create immersive experiences for its fashion houses. The collaboration will enable LVMH’s luxury “maisons,” including Louis Vuitton, Celine, and Dior, to leverage Epic’s advanced 3D tools for virtual fitting rooms, fashion shows, product carousels, and other digital initiatives. LVMH is hoping to better connect with Gen Z and Millennials in the metaverse, and YPulse’s research shows that it’s the right move: more than three in five young Europeans believe brands need to interact with virtual worlds to stay relevant (62%).
