LA-based non-profit Thrive Scholars is a program supporting young people of color throughout the U.S. in achieving success in high-impact careers. The organization recognizes the importance of starting students’ career journeys before college, especially for students who will be the first in their families to pursue a degree. Through personalized guidance, Thrive Scholars helps students overcome limitations in envisioning their future opportunities. Thrive Scholars runs a summer Academy program that provides rigorous academic training to high school juniors, equipping them with college-level skills and preparing them both emotionally and academically for the challenges of higher education. The program serves around 25K students nationwide and aims to not only support individual students, but also have a positive influence on their families and communities, expanding possibilities for future generations.
