This thousand-dollar smart bassinet is all the rage amongst parents right now. The Snoo, which was developed in 2016 by a doctor with expertise in soothing babies to sleep, just received its FDA De Novo safety and efficiency approval in March. Now, parents are raving about the baby-whispering machine that automatically rocks babies; but here’s the catch: the Snoo runs for $1,695. Many consumers question if it’s worth it, but the company claims that the smart bassinet “adds one to two hours of sleep per night with constant calming womb-like motion and sound.” While the machine keeps infants asleep, it also keeps them safe by containing them to sleeping on their backs to avoid Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. One mom shared her love for the Snoo because it let her sleep more, as well as her baby: “I realized sleep is so important to me as a person, and the Snoo made that possible.” (Yahoo Life)
