Snapchat’s “My AI” chatbot now has a feature where it can respond to pictures. As Snapchat continues to improve the user experience of its “My AI” chatbot, the tech is now able to process and respond to not only text, but also pictures. The platform encourages its users to send the AI a photo and interact with the bot on a friend-to-friend basis (though its mainly built to give suggestions): “…if you Snap My AI your latest grocery haul, it might recommend a recipe.” The chatbot, which uses ChatGPT tech, is constantly being redesigned by Snapchat to keep up with AI developments and maintain user engagement on the app even after receiving a poor reaction when it first was introduced.
