Buy now, pay later firm Klarna just made some major upgrades—including a TikTok-like discovery feed. While Gen Z and Millennials told us they don’t really like it when apps copy TikTok features, this isn’t really the same thing. Instead, Klarna’s new TikTok-like feed recommends products to users powered by artificial intelligence. The fintech app says the new design will “help users find the items they want by using more advanced AI recommendation algorithms, while merchants will be able to target customers more effectively.” Other updates include customized shops for social media content creators as well as the ability to sell secondhand goods with a new resale option “that lets people sell used clothing, electronics and other items through a partner platform.” (CNBC)
