Post-pandemic and amidst a U.S. recession, human resources executives are coming up with meaningful ways to retain a Gen Z workforce. It’s no secret young adults are reshaping how work is viewed—and HR recruiters are adapting their practices to adjust to their desires. YPulse’s What’s Next For Work trend research found that 78% of young people have felt burnt out because of work and a recent LaSalle survey found that 85% of employees may quit their job in six months, proving that the younger generation of workers is inspiring the drive to leave a job that doesn’t suit their personal requirements. But more importantly, recruiters are finding that mental health support as well as pay transparency and growth opportunities are must-haves for Gen Z applicants. (CNBC)
