A new study found that almost two in five teachers are seeing hungry pupils in their classrooms in the U.K. With economic uncertainty facing young Europeans, a new study has revealed that two in five British teachers see students coming to school hungry, missing out on breakfast. With a 63% increase from last year a spokesperson for cereal brand Kellogg’s has pin-pointed the cost-of-living crisis as one of the impacts behind the lack of breakfast. Celebrating 25 years of supporting breakfast clubs across the country, Kellogg’s has donated 25 million bowls of cereal to food banks over the last year, and vows to continue their support for the campaign, especially with worrying stats like these appearing.
