Over in the U.S., some Millennials may not be having kids because of too much student debt.

Over in the U.S., some Millennials may not be having kids because of too much student debt. Couples who want children but are still riddled by excessive student loan debt are finding it a difficult barrier to overcome. Some couples have upwards of $60K in combined student load debt with minimum monthly payments of $800. These expenses are making Millennials wary about how they’d be able to additionally afford the cost of childbirth and baby supplies, let alone years of childcare after. YPulse data shows that about three quarters (74%) of 25-39-year-olds hold some kind of debt—and 20% of them have debt specifically related to student loans.
