Knorr is daring TikTok influencers to eat something different that’s also good for the planet. The brand is challenging young consumers to think about how their food choices impact the environment by eating sustainable diets. In partnership with TikTok and Vice, Knorr is tapping 11 international content creators for a truth or dare style campaign “where Knorr shares the truths about the effects of food production and consumption on our ecosystems.” Influencers recorded their POVs of the challenge, giving their followers a behind-the-scenes look at the “Dare to Try” challenge set up in the jungle like the show Survivor where they had to compete in mini games to uncover various facts about food and sustainability. YPulse’s Sustainability report shows young consumers are willing to change their purchasing and consumption habits to improve the environment: 22% of Gen Z says they’ve changed their diet specifically because of climate change.
