Berlin is investing €100 million to help Gen Z discover its cultural scene—and yes, it includes nightclubs as well. The German capital must have read YPulse’s research showing that only one-quarter of young Germans go out more often than they used to, the lowest rate in Western Europe. To tackle the issue, Berlin created the Jungendkulturkarte: a “culture card” for youth ages 18-23-years-old with €50 on it, to be used in many cultural venues in the capital, including museums, cinemas, theaters, and nightclubs.
