AdAge is teaming up with OUTFRONT for a billboard campaign in time for Black History Month. Part of OUTFRONT’s annual “Making Black History” campaign, the project is designed to spotlight Black creators and celebs who are making history in their fields on billboards. Each will include “a photo of a Black creative executive making an impact on the industry” as well as “a QR code that will direct commuters to learn more about the full Black Creative Excellence series on AdAge.com.” Starting February, AdAge will feature four Black creators who will contribute as guest editors who will share their stories on their “most pivotal projects from their own careers, and then give the stage to other talents who are shaping advertising, marketing and beyond.” YPulse research shows that the top way that young people want brands to celebrate or commemorate Black History month is to amplify the voices of Black leaders.
