Lil Nas X teased a collab with The Wiggles last spring—and now it looks like it’s coming true. In April last year, the singer tweeted, “trying really hard to get the wiggles to coheadline the tour with me. i will keep you guys updated” and was met with a response from the children’s entertainment group that read, “We’re ready to wiggle with you!” Fast forward to NYE and one of the group members posted a photo with Lil Nas X, all donning the unmistakable colored Wiggles shirts. Parents in the comments section of the photo gave mixed reactions with some negative statements like “…this is the dude with the Satan worshipping video and the Nikes with the blood inside them?? I thought wiggles was an advocate for children.” But some are fully on board with the collab, with one positive comment reading, “all these ppl getting mad is hilarious…fully support more than ever. now to take my 8 month old to watch.” (UPROXX)
