YPulse has recognized Betches as one of Gen Z and Millennials’ top meme accounts—but they’ve been branching out significantly since then. For those who may not be completely familiar with metaverse worlds or interested in gaming activations, Betches is creating a webpage that serves as a virtual shoppable house where consumers can browse Shop Betches merch and other affiliate items. Visitors can peruse the entire house and look for products featured in every virtual room, and in their “walk-in closet” items from Saks Off 5th will be available for purchase, too. Other exclusive content within the house includes a holiday recipe book in the kitchen and a phone booth that plays “embarrassing stories the brand gathered via a Google Voice account.” The house is meant to build community among Betches’ customers, who are mainly Millennial women between the ages of 25-35-years-old.
