Play-Doh is easing Millennial parents of the pressures to be perfect with their “Parenting is Messy” campaign. YPulse research shows how Millennial parenting is being shaped by social media and according to Play-Doh’s own research, “67% of parents feel an overwhelming pressure to be a perfect parent, with 41% stating they’d received unsolicited or unrequested parenting advice from others.” In response to this, Play-Doh is dropping Notes on Messy Parenting, their first ever book for parents. The book will be available to view and download for free and captures “open, honest and often hilarious anecdotes from its 13 contributors.” The brand is also encouraging parents across the U.K. to submit their own messy parenting stories online on the brand’s website or under the #PlayDohMessyParenting hashtag on social media. By participating, parents will have the opportunity to win prizes for both their kids and themselves. (ToyWorld Mag)
