U.K. high-end department store Selfridges is opening its biggest Christmas shop ever in London. In addition to finding all their favorite holiday-themed products, holiday shoppers will also be able to personalize everything as they want. We know that due to the current cost-of-living crisis, young consumers are eager to start their holiday shopping this year to get the best deals—and to help them feel better. In the WE Winter Holiday Plans Report, 34% of U.K. young consumers told YPulse they already started their holiday shopping, the highest percentage among other Western European countries. Meanwhile, YPulse’s Customization Nation trend report found that the days of one-size-fits-all are numbered, and personalization has since become an expectation among young consumers.
