Paris fashion shows are trending on social media—and Gen Z is into the industry’s fun this year.

Paris fashion shows are trending on social media—and Gen Z is into the industry’s fun this year. YPulse’s Brand Loyalty report shows that young consumers love when a brand is innovative—and our Pop Culture Redefined trend research shows that traditional events like Paris Fashion Week can be popular with Gen Z as long as they have memeable / shareable social media-worthy moments. The luxury shows are going viral on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram with one of the most shared clips featuring Bella Hadid’s spray-on dress. Coperni, the French brand behind the stunt, says, “It’s our duty as designers to try new things and show a possible future…we’re not going to make money on this, but it’s a beautiful moment — an experience that creates emotion.” The show was “peppered with viral moments” showcasing their solid gold handbag, skirts and pants with extra padding on the hips and bottom (a nod to dramatic celebrity BBLs); and even glass covered clothing. #ParisFashionWeek on TikTok currently has 1.8B views and is actively creating more buzz around Kanye West, Doja Cat, and plus sized model and influencer Remi Bader.
