FaZe Rain and The Parent Company are appealing to canna-gamers with a new brand. The esports player and co-founder of YouTube’s FaZe Clan, is rolling out RCVRY along with the help of California-based canna brand The Parent Company. The new brand is set on appealing to the world of canna-gamers following a Brightfield Group study that shows “54% of consumers mix cannabis and gaming,” and products that blend the two markets don’t really exist yet. For those worried about youth involvement, the Entertainment Software Association shows that “the average age of players is 33…and there are now more gamers 45 and up than those under 18.” RCVRY first launched their Rainz Runtz strain, which “gives off a faint berry-like smell.” YPulse data shows that nearly one in four 21-39-year-olds are smoking marijunana daily.
